AHD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and gifts are 100% tax-deductible. The AHD Model builds self-sustaining health care systems in rural Latin America. Although most of the population in our locale is extremely poor, many can afford services. Our model is different from others because we run it like a business but still serve everyone. The model works!
This is the first time a rural hospital in Latin America has achieved financial self-sustainability while providing a high quality, permanent service to an entire population.
How AHD Uses Your Generous Gift
AHD is a US 501(c)3 organization which means your gift is 100% tax deductible. You will receive acknowledgement of your gift by mail.
Your gift will be used for equipment at the hospitals, our Residency and Nurse Training Program, and the new hospital in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. Hospital PVM’s day-to-day operations are paid for with hospital revenues, not from donations from you. Support from you assures quality in the hospital, helps develop relationships with local and international institutions, and helps perpetuate the AHD model.
