Jenny Grantham Stein has worked with nonprofit organizations focusing on education, health care and social justice for over 25 years, serving in capacities ranging from strategic planning and fundraising to leadership development and board governance. Highlights in recent years include unique opportunities to serve on sponsor boards representing the founding religious congregation for $8 billion St. Louis-based not-for-profit SSM Health System (Franciscan Sisters of Mary) and, subsequently, Dominican educational ministries (including Dominican University (River Forest, IL) and Edgewood College (Madison, WI) (sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa). Together with her husband, Jenny in 2022-23 co-chaired the successful Healing Hands capital campaign for SSM Health/St. Mary’s Foundation, raising $10 million to advance robotic surgery capabilities.  Jenny earned her MBA from The University of Chicago/Booth School of Business and BS-Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.  Her business experience includes relationship manager roles in human capital/management consulting with Hewitt Associates (now AON) and investment banking at Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America). In 2005, Jenny and her husband were delighted to return to her family-friendly hometown of Madison, WI, to raise their four children.
