Kyle Thompson is a senior majoring in Science Preprofessional Studies at the University of Notre Dame from Michigan City, Indiana. He currently serves as the President of Hesburgh’s Heroes, a student run organization which supports Andean Health & Development in honor of the late Father Theodore Hesburgh. Kyle continues to expand the presence and membership of Hesburgh’s Heroes on campus to further support the financial needs of Andean Health.

As construction continues on Hospital Cotopaxi, the question naturally arises — will Andean continue to indefinitely build hospitals throughout Ecuador and beyond in the years ahead? The short answer is no. So how will we leverage the experience we have gained over more than a quarter century?
