Peter Gottsacker’s extensive experience in management, sales, and marketing has helped make Wixon, Inc. a leader in the flavor technologies industry. Gottsacker joined the company in 1996 as chief operating officer, was appointed president in 1998, and became an owner in 2004. Under his guidance, Wixon has more than doubled in growth and is now the 16th largest food and beverage manufacturer in southeast Wisconsin. Wixon has also won two Innovation Awards in the last six years, for its Mag-nifique and Wix-Fresh flavor modifiers.

Gottsacker has completed studies in international marketing, finance, and human resources at INSEAD, France and corporate financial management at Harvard University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Notre Dame and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1979. Gottsacker is a member of the FaB Milwaukee Leadership Council, a network of executives and innovators representing the strength of the region’s food industry. He also serves on the board of several nonprofit and for profit organizations.

The father of six children, Gottsacker and his wife reside in Hartland, Wisconsin.
