Tara Kenney is a senior finance executive with extensive experience in the Emerging Markets.
Tara is currently serving as an Independent Trustee for Fidelity Investments. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame, teaching a course on Impact Investing. Prior to this Kenney was a Managing Director with Deutsche Asset Management, where Tara led the bank’s Institutional business in Latin America and served as a Portfolio Manager and Head of Emerging Markets and Latin American Equities for nearly 2 decades.
In her near 40-year career, Tara was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Scudder Investments, as well as working for Bankers Trust where she led sovereign debt restructurings, project finance and capital markets transactions in Latin America.
In addition to her work for Fidelity Investments, she is currently on the board of the Kellogg Institute at the University of Notre Dame and Catholic Charities USA. She also leads the Finance and Investment Committee for Accion International, and is on the Audit Committee for the Eco Enterprises Funds.
Tara received a BA in Government and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame and later studied Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru. She earned an MBA in Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
