Another member from the Notre Dame Class of 1984, Tim worked for over 30 years in the leveraged finance markets with expertise in Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO’s), leveraged bank loan credit selection, portfolio management, CLO structuring, documentation and investment management.  Utilizing his experience from his work at Price Waterhouse, First National Bank of Chicago, GE Capital and ABN AMRO Bank, he eventually invested in and co-founded two CLO asset managers and a software company.

He and his wife, Julie now reside in Watersound, Florida, and have four adult children all living in the Chicago area.

Book about AHD Launched

A book about the inspiring journey of Dr. David Gaus and Andean Health & Development is now on bookshelves. Long Road from Quito is written by Tony Hiss. Hiss is the author of 13 books and was a staff writer at the New Yorker for 30 years. Since then, he has been a visiting scholar at New York University.
